watching them try to get through "As Long As You're Mine", which, on stage, is about 90% PG-13 touching and pretty much entirely sexual, without laughing over the awkwardness of the situation was hilarious. I love watching actors/actresses perform at Bryant Park because everyone can see what their true reactions to the songs are, and even in rehearsals, they're pretty in character, so it's rare to get this little glimpse into them like this.

Meagan O'Dell I'm sure. But it's all a stage act, and it's not like the scene means anything to the actors. A good actor usually puts a distinct barrier between their personal and stage lives, and they should leave personal baggage at the stage door. At least her husband understands.

Great video, my Uncle Tim use to be in charge of the orchestra and play trumpet for Wicked in Chicago. I got to go backstage, meet The Wizard and wave to the actress playing Elphaba back then in early 2008, it was awesome!!! I loved seeing the last part of this video, it gives great flash backs of saying hello to my Uncle before performing Wicked. I'm so proud of him he still plays trumpet at The Ford theater for different shows coming in to Chicago.

I'm back again. It makes me so happy to watch these, not sure why. But "As long as you're mine" can we talk about the vocal arrangement? The harmonies that were selected by the vocal arranger are STUNNING. Listen to the separate notes that Derek and Lindsay are singing, that together make a different note. It's breathtaking. And they are such amazing singers with such CONTROL over their voices. I was paying attention to that, not giggling over the kiss as some other commenters were. This is the second show they've done together, they did "Dog Fight" before this, also a romance, so I don't think it is awkward for them at all. They are good friends. They kiss every night on stage, it's not a big deal. Listen to their amazing voices!
