I would suggest the greatest thing (I know I’m weird) I just figured out. My washer has a timer. I thought it was for doing laundry when electricity is cheaper but NO ! I have been putting a load in at night and putting the timer on 8 hours and having it run while I’m asleep, an hour before I wake up so that way it doesn’t sit in the wash all night or day and as soon as I get up I put it in the dryer. It’s brilliant! Also I have been loading the dishwasher after dinner so I empty it before bed and I don’t have to do it in the morning.

Following Diane in Denmark and the Flylady system for quite awhile now. I use an old lined notebook for my zone lists. Yes, I rewrite my lists every 4 months, but this allows me to adjust as needed. The notebook has plenty of room for all my daily notes, including project notes, contacts for a project, etc etc. and doodles if needed. No times are noted, as I use the timer. Works great for me and I have spent no money.💜💜

Love the cleaning plans. Well done! I have a suggestion to tweak your routine a little for time efficiency. If it doesn't work for you no worries. My suggestion is to put a load of laundry on before exercising the dog. The wash is being done while you both have fun. When you are both done with exercise get the laundry into the dryer. If cute puppy can't wait for the laundry to be sorted then have the load sorted and in the washer ready to go. (Maybe add that to night time routine so it is ready.) Put in your favourite detergents, etc (don't let detergents or softener sit directly on clothing in case of damage to them). If you can schedule your machine to run in the afternoon at exercise time so much the better. If not, you'll only have to switch it on and walk out the door. When you do the washing isn't my point. It's using the time efficiently and hooking it to a habit or routine you already do. 💕🦉🇦🇺

What if you throw a load in before you take your dog out?? That way it washes while you play, and depending how long you play, you can throw the load in the dryer right when you come in! It might make a difference in your routine. Just an idea I had

Holy moly! You got here a timeless piece of video! Well done and beautiful framing let alone the sound and you voice is very clear. That looks like pre-printed planner! Your hand writing is perfection! I would be able to do this for half of the week and then say f#£§ it I’ll never get this done because I would totally write something wrong and that would ruin the whole page and let’s be honest, to keep the calendar that beautiful demands some heavy commitment (I’m type 1) We use at work the Office 365 planner. It’s wonderful (it checks the spelling 😆), but it lacks the physical experience, but you can share it with the team if needed. Btw, that color of the calendar is my favorite ❤️ P.S. it appears that you are perfectionist, just remember that the human errors separates us from machines.

Amazing video -thanks for providing such detailed explanations of each part of your planner. I was wondering, on your weekly spread do you intentionally limit yourself to 3 work tasks and 3 home tasks, or is that just how your ‘daily life’ tends to pan out?
@plansmeetpaper36636 жыл бұрын
Hello! On my weekly planning page, I do limit myself because I am usually only writing the appointments, events, or major projects that I am working on that day. I then break these events or projects into smaller, more manageable to dos on my "daily" page. This helps me avoid overwhelm while still seeing the big picture. I hope that makes sense! =)

I love this. My problem with Flylady plan is, as I was watching ...I think, ok, I have the daily routine plan down, but when would I do the planned dailys specific for that day? The monthlys?There isn't one minute left in the plan. What are your thoughts?
@plansmeetpaper36637 жыл бұрын
That is tricky! I would just try to utilize any little stolen minutes of time that you can. For instance, I end up doing my zone cleaning while cooking dinner a lot of the time... I will start water to boil or throw something in the oven and then quickly wash a window, check the water/ stove, then quickly wipe down the blinds, etc. If I utilize those little multitasking minutes I can usually get in at least ten minutes of zone cleaning a day which definitely counts over time! =) In my opinion the daily routine makes the biggest difference anyways though!

How do you and your husband divide your tasks?
@plansmeetpaper36635 жыл бұрын
It has depended on our jobs and other responsibilities over the years. When we were both working regular full time jobs, we split the home tasks based on preference. For instance, I don't mind vacuuming and dusting but I hate doing dishes and vice versa for my husband so we did the tasks we each liked more. My husband currently works a ton of hours and I stay home with our baby so I do most of the house work now but he still helps out when he is home or I need extra support... and he still does the dishes and dishwasher because he knows it is my least favorite task =)

They were originally letter size and punched for a disc bound notebook, so, I just trimmed them down to personal and A5 size (I made the same dividers for both sizes)and repunched them. I made them about a year ago, so I'm not sure if they are still at Staples. =) They may even be on Amazon by now! Thanks, Amy PlansMeetPaper

I went to your Etsy shop and purchase two files but the files were not recognized as PDFs so I could not download them. I contacted you through Esty. I hope you can assist and give me a different pdf file

Hi Lindsey, I bought these tabs from the Martha Stewart collection at Staples. They were originally letter size and punched for a disc bound notebook, so, I just trimmed them down to personal and A5 size (I made the same dividers for both sizes)and repunched them. I made them about a year ago, so I'm not sure if they are still at Staples. =) They may even be on Amazon by now! -Amy

Where can I find the dividers? They look like Martha Stewart, but when I search Staples I cannot find these.

Hi Aaron, These dividers are from the Martha Stewart collection at staples. They were originally half letter size and I cut them down to fit in my personal size Filofax! Thanks, Amy
