Good Job! instead of changing to black thread, I just use a black sharpie marker to colour the red.

Great looking fly m8!!! I have been using ( on some flies for variation) holographic tinsel in different colors underneath the vinil rib and the effect is actually quite "cool". Just wanted to "add an idea" into the mix. Greetings from Iceland.
