Found a true treasure when I found your channel...thanks for sharing your secrets... We have a duck here called "gadwall"...incredible colors if you like wood duck...just darker...(also widgeon)...both puddle ducks. Whenever a duck hunter friend gets one I always ask for a handful of flanks...I'm sure you would like it too.

Beautiful tie💗 Perhaps Congo hair or EP fibers, rather than Maribou would be much easier to work with and look good too?

Hi Cary, You could but marabou breathes, it has great movement when wet.

Beautiful fly. I’m curious about the use of marabou. Do you find it to look better when wet or have more movement over something like pheasant tail or turkey flat? I look forward to trying this.

Hi Ryan, well it has more movement than just about anything else! A great material for sub surface patterns.
