Way late to this, but thank you! I love the look and the ease of this. I can imagine this would swim great. I'm not used to rabbit strips on jigging action streamers, but it makes lots of sense!

Newbie here...Since this is a streamer, I assume it's a sinking lure, but it doesn't look heavy enough to sink. Is there weight to the dumbbell eye? Does the hook help it sink, too? Or is this a streamer that's fished on the surface?

Randy Steele the hook helps the fly sit in the water properly and the dumbbell eyes easily add enough weight for this fly to sink
