Great looking fly, nice and simple. Do you still use Allen hooks? It seems like you have moved away from using them.

We tie a lot with fulling mill, gamakatsu, daiichi, TMC etc. Mostly because we have them in the shop.

Can I change cdc with pheasant tail feather? I am wandering why you using such expensive material as CDC just for wing case. You can make a little bubble instead.

Borislav Stankov you can use whatever you want, but that little bit of CDC really does help it float.

Just went outside fished this with a fripple side by side, a rod in each hand, fish preferred the fripple. Sorry.
