I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible fishing video you produced. Watching it was nothing short of a transformative experience for me. As I sat and immersed myself in the scenes unfolding before me, memories of my childhood trout fishing adventures with my dad and grandpa came rushing back with a flood of nostalgia. It was a powerful reminder of the joy and connection that fishing brought to our family. Your dedication to your craft and your ability to evoke such powerful emotions through your work is truly commendable. You have inspired me to reignite my love for trout fishing and to create new memories with my loved ones, just like the ones you so beautifully captured in your video.

Great video!!! That last river you fished in Minnesota where you saw all the crayfish is the spot I saw the biggest brown of my life,.. I was wading back to where I started the day after fishing for about 5 hours in the middle of the river .. the water was clear as could be and bright blue sky and this brown swam by me very slowly like he could give a rip that I was there...he would swim by and then a little farther he would swim by again and again... I was shaking he was so big and I've seen some big trout over the years...I'm thinking close to 30 inches or more.... anyhow love your videos and keep it rolling....

You want to talk about a beaver problem. in 2020, I landed 1400 trout, 2023 only 548. I fished nearly the same amount of hours and streams. I know there are 4-5 year peak cycles, weather conditions etc.Beaver dams are out of control in Wisconsin presently. If you don't know where the top and bottom dams are, you will only catch a few landlocked fish. Above and below you can do some damage, which can lead to problems with poaching.I have been pushing this issue to side this winter.I found 9 dams on one the better spring creeks last year that were not there last year.Many of my go-to spots had dams that weren't there the previous 3 years.I will be reaching out to the fisheries biologists and managers today, finally.If this isn't addressed and dealt with it won't matter how much structure or improvements are made on any of the streams. Anyway, keep up the great work.
@tenkaraintheiowadriftless8 ай бұрын
Same in Iowa. I fished a creek last week that used to have fast water and riffles about every 50 yards. Now it's just a series of multiple beaver dams and ponds of dirty, stagnant water. In a couple areas the trees had been virtually clear cut. The day was a complete skunk. Very sad to see. Could sure use some flooding rains to flush it all out.
@brookiebob8 ай бұрын
@@tenkaraintheiowadriftless That’s no good for the streams, unfortunately that’s the best we can hope for. I put in a message today to a fisheries manager in the area. I will be reaching out to the others in different counties.

This was filmed about two years ago, so I have seen it get worse on the Iowa side over the years. They sure can take over quick!
@brookiebob8 ай бұрын
@@FLYALLSZN The general attitude towards beavers in the Driftless has been that it has little effects on the streams and trout. That’s definitely not the case up in northern Wisconsin. They are detrimental to cold water resources.There is a constant battle tearing down dams and trapping out the nuisance beavers.
