This is an amazing aircraft! I still have lots to learn. For those who were having performance/stuttering problems, I highly recommend you lower your sim settings to medium, everything on default, will improve the plane massively! Also try holding Alt and then hit Enter 2x. But lower your sim settings then restart the sim and it should run without any problems with performance. The one thing that I notice is not working is the atc… I did not have the transponder on so I wonder if maybe that’s what the problem was, otherwise it was seriously a beauty to fly.

About the ATC, I found that I needed to press the MIC button on the the VHF I intend to use to interact with MSFS ATC. Hope this helps!

I don't think it's a bad thing that not all systems are fully functioning yet, because there's already enough to learn. And each system that is then added bit by bit not only makes it exciting, but you also learn bit by bit and you don't hit a wall full of new systems.

Had 3 flight tests with this acft. Amazing work, but a lot to improve in terms of performance. FBW said that we can expect around 25% of performance impact compared to A320 but even using 4K textures, I lost more than 50% of FPS. I saw a lot of comments in this way on FBW's Discord. In a quick test using scenery and online environment, I had a constant 15/20 FPS, making this airplane nearly unusable. In the same environment I had a solid 40/50 using Fenix. FBW made a brilliant work with this airplane, and for a freeware add-on it's absolutely wonderful but the acft needs a LOT of performance tuning.

Hi, I tried it with GSX, but my GSX became unresponsive while working with this aircraft. No matter what menu item I clicked, nothing would happen. No matter if I turn the GSX synchronization on or off, they just don't work. Is it the same to you? Or if there are any settings I did wrong? Thank you!

RNAV Doesn't work in the A380 at he moment as there is no FINAL APPR mode. There is a way to do it however using NAV/FPA modes.

You should not use the ground service tab on the efb. It is known to cause a bug where all doors and hatches open, and the navigation systems will get bricked

While I would love to play with the BTV and have terrain, having SimBridge connected causes constant CTD for me in the A380. I attempted 2 times KLAX - YSSY and both time it never made it more than 4 hours into the flight. I turned off SimBridge and I’m currently half way (8 hours in, 7 hours to go) from EGLL - WSSS. Many others have reported the same and turning off SimBridge seems to resolve the problem.

Being able to use Auto-Pilot would be useful, particularly 'flying manually' then wish to set it in their. I'm struggling to get the A380 Auto-Pilot to respond to presses on the knobs/buttons.

I have a question and I haven't been able to find an answer to. The fuel system is a mystery. When I bring up the Fuel display on the lower central panel, I see how much fuel is in the tanks and the fuel flow for each engine and the combined total fuel burned per hour. On the EFB I see the tanks and the total fuel in each wing. I am currently flying from Phoenix, AZ to Paris, France. Right now, in flight, I am cruising at 36100 flight level, each engine is burning 18,600 kg/hour for a combined total of 74,600 kg/hour. On the display it reads that I have a total of 106,00 kg. I have 2107 NM to go. According to my FPlan page, it shows that I will land with 62.8 kg/fuel. But if I am flying at 491 GS, I have 4 hours to fly. So if I am burning 74,600 kg/hour and have a total of 106,600, how do I end up with 62.9T when I land and shut down the engines? By my math, I have an hour and a half of fuel. I am completely confused and just can't figure this one out. Any help is greatly appreciated and I hope this is not inappropriate to discuss on this video. If it is, I apologize and please delete it.

The FMS needs to be fully filled out for the FMGS to compute speeds etc for flying manage speed. Endure altitude, cost index etc, winds are all inserted.

I must be a jinx because I'm not having any luck at all. I am trying to start off in a far away airport just to stay out of everyones way. Cold cockpit, I click over to the flypad and click the Ground Power Unit and then go to overhead and the AC Busses dont illuminate. I have Honeycomb alpha/bravo that is connected but also have thrustmaster joystick that I use for Airbus flying. Tried it with alpha plugged in also unplugged and still the GPU is the correct color but the AC Busses do not turn avail. Tried restarting Flight Sim but no luck. Any thoughts/suggestions? I'm really at a loss.

The BTV also requires the navigraph right? Because it uses the OANS map? Thats a big disappointment to me... well what can you do right? Will use littlenav map on other monitor and will use autobrakes level based on exprience :)

BTV can either be set using OANS, which DOES require a Navigraph subscription (and will display the airport map on the ND), or you can manually set the braking distance worked out yourself without OANS (and thus without Navigraph). OANS uses AMDB data, and Navigraph is the only source for it currently that would able to be imported for the sim. FBW are looking to see if they can replicate AMDB data from reading airport scenery, but that's perhaps a bit more hacky, maybe not so unreliable - something for the future. So really, Navigraph offering the data made it a no brainer to initiate the OANS system using it for now.

Lower your sim settings! I had to go back from ultra to default settings and that increased the performance big time! It was like very little stutters, it’s the details on this aircraft too that’s causing it but if you go and reset your graphics settings to default it makes a massive difference and improvement. The only thing is default atc won’t smh work with this
