They started as an improvement program to the default A320 and with the amount of volunteers they gained, they decided to tackle the A380, the community they gathered from the A320 was huge and they did it all for free. Love that you seem to be able to tap in your SIDs, STARs, runways and even exits all by the touch screen maps, the BTV (Brake to Vacate) system looks great, I expect this will be quite heavy on CPU power I guess we'll see. Looking forward to it. It's been a (VERY) long time coming.

There needs to be a threshold of features, detail and usability that once crossed, means it's ready for release. The team might have one internally, but not telling the public what they want to have done before release is not going to stop people from asking for a date constantly.

What is the end game man? It taking so long and as we can see, the plane is good to go. The A320 make me cry so much in the very beginning and the community should fly the very first version as a beta tester. I think there is some room for improvements in the shadows and lighting in the cockpit. However that can be easily patched with an update.

I doubt it. Fenix models things like engine performance and technical details. Visual details depend on the livery designer

​@@garystewart3110Well, this is a new aircraft and should be a new model based on previous examples of physics and stress demonstration, I'm sure that every system will be very detailed and could be as good as the Fenix is, because an A380 is way different than an A320, it is far more complex, and this video is the proof, but, hopefully the release is getting soon so we can truly experience an aircraft that hasn't been properly created in the flightsim world.

⁠@@garystewart3110you’ve gotta be kidding me right??? You did not compare the Fenix A320 to FBW A380 😂. The A380 has been in development longer than the Fenix! They’ve made every effort to get every little system detailed into the sim, it’s totally up there with the Fenix A320 and not to mention this but PMDG’s 777 is up there now too! I don’t have early access but I’ve seen a few vids of it already and there cockpit and system is highly advanced! It’s well detailed, so if the 777’s cockpit systems is well detailed and the cockpit itself and stuff, this just tells you that the A380 is gonna be right up there with Fenix’s level and PMDG’s level as well. Let’s not forget Fenix, PMDG, and FBW are the top 3 dogs when it comes creating study level simulation!! But IniBuilds is seriously up there too it’s the 4th best sim developers ik of rn. There’s no comparing an A320 to an A380! Two completely different aircrafts

@@georgebarlowr Oh we certainly target the same market. We just dont have the ressources to work fulltime on this. As such development happens slower and less focused. For release we are targeting a capability of flying A to B using Vatsim. Def not all systems will be fully simulated. It will get incrementally improved over time
