I'm overwhelmed that this is how detailed, and exhausting making a 3D model. Even just in the coloring takes forever, how much more when adding movements turning to animation!

Modeling takes more times than animating nowadays. You could suprise if you know how easy to make that model to move. At least for 2d it is. I am not sure about 3d animation but pretty sure with a little coding it would be super easy.

Perhaps retopo is the main difference between "modeling" and "sculpting". Where most effort is done to make the model animatable.
