Flyfishing the River Usk in Wales GREAT Evening Session

What a difference a few days can make. I decided to give the area from my previous video a second try and I sure am glad that I did. I fished for about an hour right before dusk and had much better luck this time!
Sadly, this will probably be my last trout video of the season as it is closed starting October 1st. Time to look forward to winter grayling fishing and for spring to arrive!
All the fish were caught on Lance Egan's Red Dart with tying help from ‪@FlyFishFood‬and one on a simple pheasant tail with tying help from ‪@OldDominionTroutBum‬

Thanks Cory! I just got back from a very cold and fishless grayling session here. The River Usk is incredible - we moved to Wales in July and I had a great time fishing it through the fall. I'm definitely looking forward to spring here! You need to do a UK trip at some point! Some really beautiful places to explore with lots of wild brownies.

The River Usk has some really impressive brownies in it and I can't wait to explore more this year. It's the perfect cure for any homesickness! All the best to you as well this season.
