Been matching/gluing turkey flats to make vertical tails and also for cheeks on streamers. The natural is cool and the white ones can be colored with markers.

Not trying to put words in your mouth, but at 3:27 I think the word you were looking for was contrast. The bolder barring creates better contrasting colors and fish seem to like that. Where I fish in any case! Keep up the good work Brian!
