Follow up, I love this sort of randomized Pokémon style because of how many options it opens up. A poison Monferno is wild for instance. I think it really stirs the pot and keeps content from burning out (not to say I don’t LOVE monolockes, I’m pretty obsessed with them).

It’s giving “Pokémon Too Many Types” energy. Which I’d say to do a run of, but that version is ridiculously challenging and the type table is atrocious. It’s only something to try if you genuinely want to suffer. But it seems really fun for a casual play through. Which, lengthy side note, I’d be down to watch more casual play throughs if it ever peeks your interest Dr. Flygon. For instance, Pokémon Legends Arceus wasn’t a very good game for Nuzlockes, but is still great and it’s just fun to hear your commentary and see your reactions. I know there’s the Highlights channel videos, but maybe we could get it on the Main channel? The new Legends game in the future could be a cool Let’s Play.

Amazing. Beautiful. Nothing short of superb. The fact that it's a Kalos playthrough means we get to see the figurines directly in action, too. My only nitpick is that Slow Start is pretty unbalanced on a Pokemon with Protect and Recover (Regigigas has neither) as well as a legendary's mega stats. To keep things fair, I would only use him while Slow Start is active, not the other way around. But honestly? THIS WAS AMAZING. Definitely one of the most fun I've had watching your content (and I've watched literally all of it), if not THE most fun. Definitely consider doing more of this in the future if there's an opportunity.

suggestion: encounters chosen entirely by people you know who are completely ignorant about Pokemon. they don't know typings, stats, moves, even names of anything beyond Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charizard, etc. You just show them a set of the available Pokemon in a particular game, and ask them to select a few. using whatever criteria they want. you do not tell them this is for a challenge or that you're looking for strong Pokemon to be chosen. the Pokemon's nickname in the challenge will also be decided by the person who selected them.

You should do a run where you can ONLY use stab moves. If you use set up or non damaging moves, they have to be stab too (only normal types can use swords dance, etc.) I think it would be an interesting challenge for team building because it’s so moveset dependent.
