It’s also right in the middle of Cincinnati and Columbus. From Dayton, they’re both one hour each way. Then to Cleveland from Dayton is about 3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hour drive. Chicago, Illinois is roughly 4 hours from Dayton as well. Truly awesome to see you come to the states. Love the content brother!

For people asking how he got a visa well I am pretty sure if u are going less then 90 days u dont need a visa from Australia u do a ESTA before u go and if u get approved for that then u good to go. I always thought it was tough to get into the US with convictions but people do go
@gentlemanvanilla6 ай бұрын
the ESTA asks about criminal convictions when you apply and if you answer yes, it's automatically denied and you're advised to get a visa. The ESTA does not automatically check if you have a criminal record and it's debatable whether criminal records databases are even shared automatically between countries (Perhaps they are between neighbours like u.s/canada, aus/nz)
@adzdisdat88446 ай бұрын
As an aussie who has an american wife and has travelled to the USA multiple times in multiple years. One of the first questions you get asked on the ESTA application is “do u have a criminal record” if you put yes then it is instantly denied .. the process after that is you must go for an interview at the American embassy in North Syd and explain ur reasoning for entry into the USA, etc. but i think for spanians case it was due to flight cancellations, delays, etc. that could of possibly helped him get through for a short period of time because lets be realistic how many people would want to do a 17 hour flight and stay for a few days.. ive done that 14 hour flight to LAX multiple times and then standing in line for another 1-2 hours for entry through customs, it is the most horrible experience ever. Also being from a Middle Eastern background and having a beard, i always seem to be “randomly” selected for full security checks which includes thorough bag searches, body search/frisks and multiple questions.. but honestly no complaints its always a fun time in the USA!

@@adzdisdat8844 do you mean the flight cancellation could have forced him to have to come back via the u.s? As you still need an esta to transit. And like I said to someone else, lying on the esta seems to get you in... unless you get pulled into secondary as you seem to have happen.

you either lie about having a criminal record on your visa waiver application, or tell the truth and get automatically denied and get advised to apply for a visa. Visa applications do require a criminal record check but you can be deemed rehabilitated (Unlikely in his case, too much prison time and not enough time since being let out/crime-free)

One time I flew from Sydney to Melbourne and they replaced the plane for a smaller one, but didn't say anything to the customers about it, or arrange for different flights. So I get on and find that the seat rows don't go up to what my ticket shows as my seat, along with a whole bunch of other people. Pretty amazing that their systems either don't automatically cater for situations like this, or they're not utilising those systems properly. The very instant that they're aware that a change to a smaller aircraft is required, their system should contact all those customers who don't have matching seats on the new aircraft. FFS

I use to work as a Cabinet Crew member with Qantas before the Cov!d nonsense hit & I loved serving my passengers. During water service if any customer/s requested something such as a cup of coffee, etc I would usually tell them how they take their coffee & that I will make it straight after the water service & get onto it straight away. I mean it only takes less than 5 mins to make for a passenger. Sorry you had to wait until the meal service or even after the meal service which is longer too. Lol.
