well the more lenght is fallling the more weight/force(?) it pulls on what is still inside the glasses..? I'm guessing there is a physic stuff about that is note a rope but many balls attached to each other ?

Thanks for the comment. This was done with a Christmas chain but it will work with a normal chain providing it's long enough and there's a high drop.
