Not gonna comment on every mistake, just the one that stood out the most to me. 3:30 The kori bustard is WAY too big (and really, every bird after it too), it looks like it would outweigh a rhea! A common length range I've seen in literature is 105-128 cm, so it's height would be significantly less, probably no more than about 1 m (wouldn't know, since "height" is a REALLY unusual measurement for birds, usually only seen for the large ratites). And oh yeah, the picture is totally that of a MacQueen's bustard.

also why is the pelican BIGGER than a golden retriever!!!!!!!!!! and the last 2 couldn't fly as the weight of their heads would prevent it and they to big body mass.
@ryanorourke1150
@ryanorourke1150 Жыл бұрын
@@chloedevereaux1801 They've already said there is a higher chance that Quetzalcoatlus could fly like most avian creatures they are lighter than they looked the quetzalcoatlus only weighed a couple hundred pounds to 500 pounds and once they got into the air they used the methods of modern sea birds using large wings to glide on wind currents for thousands of miles.

Ok.. great video, great graphics, but one question… around 04:00 there’s a white pelican and a retriever dog. I think it’s supposed to be a Labrador. Either way, the dog looks to be fully grown, not a puppy, right? Idk about you, but I’ve seen many white pelicans, at zoos and in the wild. In California, and on the US east coast. And in the UK. Most retrievers are a medium size dog, about the same height and overall “size” as a pelican. If anything, pelicans are slightly smaller. Of course pelicans are large birds. But UNLESS that dog in this video is supposed to be a baby… then that’s an abnormally small Labrador retriever. Lol. Or an overly exaggerated, mutant giant pelican; that’s just too big of a size difference. Also, the guy in the vid must be like 4’10” to be that close in height to a pelican-I’ve NEVER seen a pelican be able to look a person in the eye, unless they were below 4 feet tall. Or a child.
@davi_4717
@davi_4717 Жыл бұрын
There is a difference between a white pelican and a great white pelican. If you google it you will see that the video is correct. Ok that the video uses its maximum characteristics and not the average size but it's still correct
@whitewolf3051
@whitewolf3051 Жыл бұрын
@@davi_4717 Even the largest of pelicans, such as the great white pelican or the dalmatian pelican, *aren't* as big as shown here visually. *Unless* the person is 5 ft or shorter, the dog size of a puppy, there's no way those pelicans are that big. *If* the person is of average height to 6 ft, then the pelicans are too big, big enough to ride, or for them to snap the person into their bill. There *aren't* any pelicans that big.
@Toka972
@Toka972 Жыл бұрын
You need to sort out length and size. Your list doesn't make sense. A white pelican isn't 1.8m tall, it's at best 1.8m long. The way it's depicted you are confusing it and you do the same for many others. This is a video to appreciate size differences. It's a bit stupid to mix them.

@Galejro

Hmmm... I'd say size should always be measured by estimated weight not wingspan. Considering that wingspan is not a stable variable to support flight. A glider and active flapper can be the same weight and volume, and the glider will always have bigger wingspan. Than again weight cannot be accurately measured since not all flying animals are bipedal on land.

Argentavis, thats an amazing LARGE bird. QUeszalcoatious is not presented the correct way. The first one is none. Q. was a pterandon-like plane, just with 12-15m wingspan. The guy you showed with 6m hight was another one, i have to look up the name, here it is Hatzegopteryx Newest research make this the utmost and largest flying creature. 12m-?? spanwith, but up to 500kg weight, 6m hight. You used this picture, but it is no Q, because they are later in time. These are the largest, strongest and most dangerous flying animals of all time.
