I love the family blogs. IMO: WHY would you spend $700 for first class? You would fit just fine in a coach seat. Don’t you think that $ would have been better spent on ADJOINING rooms…one for parents, one for kids. OR…. Food at Disney. OR…. Saved for your next trip? At exactly 24 hours to flight departure, American will offer whatever first class seats are still available for an insanely discounted price - first come, first serve - lounge access is never included.

Last trip to Disney we got on the Spirit plane and had to get back off and wait for another for mechanical issues. Delayed our first Disney day! Then on the way out storms in Atlanta delayed us 7 hours on Delta. That was insane.

We went to Disney for the first time last December and started watching your videos when researching it. You are now our go to when we plan any vacation. We always check to see if you have any videos about them (Disney hotels and cruises)

Kyle you need to look into what airport lounges your credit cards give you access to. Chase preferred has priority pass. Used it many times when we ended up delayed and it makes the delays a little less frustrating.

Seems every time I do fly, there us a delay. The worst time was in Chicago O'Hare. But the security was so nice and brought me pillows and blanket and a pad ( like a yoga mat) to sleep on the floor . It was so nice of them. I had a delay in Hartford Ct. They gave me a bottle champagne for the trouble. Both flights were delta. That was many years ago.

This will probably sound crazy but I have been flying spirit airlines and getting an exit row seat. There is tons of extra space. As long as nothing goes wrong with Spirit it is a very nice flight with all that extra room. My last flight nobody was sitting in the middle seat and I had ridiculous space. The young woman next to me even ordered hot cocoa and a bag of boom Chicka pop to celebrate. lol

Stayed at the MCO airport hotel when my flight was cancelled. Lovely, restful place to make the best of travel woes.

Our family had to spend 10 hours at MCO because our flight got cancelled. They put us on a flight 10 hours later and had to change planes 3x, landed in Cleveland Ohio and had to rent a car to drive 4 hours home to Buffalo NY! We were up for 26 hours and lost our luggage for 2 days😂 what an adventure! We definitely know our way around MCO after that! Lol Have a great trip! Love seeing the family!!

MCI is definitely my favourite airport on earth. So cool and we stay at the Hyatt before going home every time. The runway view rooms are amazing and nice outdoor pool.

You should get a travel credit card that comes with Priority Pass, then you can visit a ton of different lounges at airports. There is a pretty nice one at MCO I go to often as I seem to get delayed there frequently.

American Airlines - first class - DFW - left the airport at the time we were supposed to arrive at MCO. 2.5 hour delay. Replaced the plane.

I feel like Delta gets first dibs on being the first one on the runway and to gates. Then the rest of the airlines fall in line. It is almost like Delta has software with how consistent they are. No delays from wheels up to touchdown, gate to gate.

Should have went over to Airside 1 at MCO as there is a Club at MCO and it’s $40 to get in there as it’s a Priority Pass Lounge and anyone can go in there.

Yea, if you want to access the Admirals club for free, you have to have a business class ticket to anywhere outside the US or a transcontinental flight between NYC/MIA to LAX or SFO or have Oneworld Sapphire status and higher to have access to on another partner airline. Also, the catering from outside the US is much better than it is stateside actually IMO. Though, I do like their short rib.

Even for me living in Ca, when I stay close to Disneyland I use Uber because parking at Disneyland is 35$ a day and you can’t come and go if you want to drive to the hotel to take a nap mid day or have to return to the hotel for something. Plus the hotels around Disneyland are very close and walkable unlike Disney World.

American delayed us from Philadelphia to Punta Cana... all day long. We got to Miami that night and to Punta Cana the next day. We were in the airport at 6:30 a.m. and got to Miami at 12:30 the next morning... back at the airport at 6:00 a.m.

My American flights to and from Florida were the worst. Every flight delayed, gate changes at MCO 16 times before finally leaving. The only flight leaving on time was the connecting flight home and we had to RACE through the airport to have the door shut in us and that was the last flight of the night. That kind of turned me off on American.

I lived in LA for a decade. I hate LAX, such a gross airport. The first timeI flew into LAX was my first day living there. I flew in at 12:30 AM and you could see lights when landing as far as you can see them south and north. Such a love hate for Cali. Its my second home.
