Flying in Hobbs 4-25-15

Flying the 1-26 out of Hobbs Industrial on a windy day. Winds were over 20 mph, with the thermals anywhere from 200-400 fpm. You can see at the end of the video that flying upwind takes an almost identical path as the downwind thermalling drift. This was a good example of the yo-yo effect in a 1-26.
