About James Ketchell
James is a serial adventurer, motivational speaker and Scouting ambassador.
On 1st February 2014, James became the first and only person to have rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, successfully summited Mount Everest and cycled 18,000 miles around the world.
Seven years prior to all this, he was recovering from a serious motorcycle accident that left him with broken legs as well as a severely broken and dislocated ankle. The prognosis was that he was likely to suffer a permanent walking impairment and would certainly not be able to continue the active physical lifestyle he had enjoyed up to that point.

Amazing footage James and the icons of NY are fantastic...Ellis Island followed by Liberty Island with the Statue the perfect turning point...but the Freedom Tower (WTC One) is breathtaking!

I know what you mean about having time to edit and post videos while doing this trip. I had a similar problem keeping up my journal for the last quarter of my bike trip across the US. I was keeping it on a small laptop and I'd fall asleep while typing and pop back to consciousness to discover that I'd typed lines and lines of jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjsssssssssssssssssddddddddddddd. Nonsense! Please don't forget to go back and post all this stuff after you get back, though! I really want to experience your whole trip.
