180k is very reasonable for the V-tail. I just saw a 1976 C182 in decent shape and mostly factory avionics and he was asking 115k. Asking ain't getting though

It amazes me how some intelligent and wealthy people choose not to wear a shoulder harness. NTSB has so many survivalbe crashes that ended in fatalities because they ate the dash. To each their own I suppose. Have good life insurance to help your family.

@dunntexas

Av8rMark I am a proponent of shoulder harnesses. However, the fixed point in this Bonanza prohibits the access of several critical items while in flight. For that very reason I have a set of retractables on order.

Very nice video, thanks. A couple comments- first, decent V35s from the 60s aren't selling for $120K, more like $80K. The prices are bit depressed vis a vis the straight tail bonanzas b/c of the ruddervator availability issues. That airplane, if in good shape, is probably worth around $150K w/ the mid time 300HP engine and the glass. A beautiful and desirable plane, maybe you can find a buyer at $180K??? Second, a review the Ekalbar book "Flying the Beech Bonanza" is in order, standard and safe practice is to leave the gear down while there is useful runway left. Hope that helps!
