KLR 650............can't wait for you to get back on the road!
@mydogischoking3 ай бұрын
Nope, it's a Suzuki not a Kawasaki. This was a tricky one because they only made them in the 1990's. It was called the Suzuki DR 800 S BIG. It used to be a 750 engine in the '80s but they gave it an overhaul in the '90s and it was a beast! Not sure why it isn't made any more. Probably because it is really to big to be a good enduro. Getting back on the road soon! Thanks Ripa!

Would it be possible to Rent another bike to allow you to see some more sites while you are waiting? Just a thought. Another Good video. Thanks Kris. I assume Evil villain 42 is all good?
@mydogischoking3 ай бұрын
It's a thought but I wouldn't be able to take my paramotor as I had to customize the motorcycle quite a bit to be able to carry it. It's all good though, I'll be back on the road very soon. Yes Evil Villain is doing great - thanks for asking. And thanks for the comment.

Mero Cross en paramotor falta sobrevolar el cristo uno de mis sueños ❤🎉
@mydogischoking3 ай бұрын

Man, what challenge this has become! Delays with the shipping has to be absolutely frustrating. I had UPS do something similar to me 3 years ago, and for a part that was critical to winter survival in motorhome. Yeah, I understand the moments of being completely helpless in a situation like yours, it sucks! Yep, that 35% ethynol sure didn't help the bike! Holy Cow! what a runway for personal use. The guy obviously has a jet. Looks very much like a commercial strip. I was impressed at the private runway at 6666's ranch in Texas until I saw that one. (yeah, my voicee sucks too!) Ironically, as you know from past comments, I did paramotor training at San Antonio. The past few weeks I have begun to watch videos involving ultralights. And, here you are, on cue, flying in one. Was that your 1st flight in an 'ultra'? I'm looking for something that will be less stressful on my legs. 72, ya know! What were your thoughts? Wow! How in the world do the farmers get away with the arson? With all the delays, it's a blessing that you are with 'fliers' that can facilitate your flying. I'd be pretty happy abou that.........Hey, Harley's are cool! 🤣 Pretty comfortable ride! Be safe, Kris. Blue skies!

The shipping has been an absolute hassle. I even told the parts supplier to not forget the invoice on the box (which of course they forgot). Yeah the ethanol is crazy here. There are sugar cane fields for miles and miles (you can't see the end) just to make ethanol. And I'm not sure why as Brazil has huge oil fields. Yes, in the video you can see the hangar that is being built next to it. Definitely a jet. Ron Toran in San Antonio also flies these ultralights. You might want to contact him and ask him to take you up so you can see what it takes to fly one. They are a lot faster than a paramotor. I have been in them several times and I really like them, but they don't fit on the back of a motorcycle :-) Thanks as always for writing!

I am not a Brazilian and got a CPF number from the local Brazilian embassy.
@mydogischoking3 ай бұрын
I asked from the embassy in Brasilia and they said it was not possible. Did you also have a Brazilian bank account? All good though because I was able to get around the red tape and now I have my parts. Thanks for the comment!
@Tch58023 ай бұрын
@@mydogischoking if you’re in Brazil no embassy can get you a CPF. ANY foreigner in Brazil can easily get a CPF. What are the steps to get a Brazilian CPF as a foreigner if I already arrived in Brazil? If you are already in Brazil, the process is different and (in many cases), very easy. The first step is to gather the documents. Passport or CRNM (Carteira de Registro Nacional Migratório) Residence proof (Electricity bill, for example) Here are the steps on how to get a Brazilian CPF in Brazil. Go to any post office (Correios) and tell the attendant you want to create a CPF. Show the necessary documents and pay the R$7,00 fee (Brazilian reais). The attendant will give you a payment receipt, keep it. You will need it for the next step. Go to the Receita Federal and tell the attendant that you want to create a CPF and that you have been to the post office before. Show the payment receipt that was given in the Correios and the passport. CPF will be issued and you will get it in a printed paper.

2 months in the shop??? Man that's long. But at least you're catching flights with friends. Hope that gets sorted out soon. How's the guy who crashed doing?
@mydogischoking3 ай бұрын
Yes, it has been a long wait! But the bike is getting fixed now (after this long time). I don't have any updates on the guy that crashed. I hope he's doing well. I'll try to reach out and get an update. Thanks for writing.

I bought the CRF 300 Rally , while its very low on power , not like the XR650L it does the job. Why did honda make the XR650L with a 37" seat height i don't know , maybe for giants
@mydogischoking2 ай бұрын
That's a great bike! Itchy Boots ran that bike for a couple of years, and I know a few friends that own it. Excellent choice. Not sure why the seat height on the XR650L, but it's a bit high for my size. I'm glad I lowered it. You can imagine how difficult it is to balance it with a paramotor on the back when your toes barely touch the ground. Thanks for the comment.
