Flying the Largest Airbus Twin - A350-1000 Qatar Airways

This is a video containing some great details about flying on the Airbus A350-1000, with footage from the cockpit. I flew on Qatar Airways A350-1000 from Los Angeles to Doha. The flight time was nearly 15 hours, with a maximum take-off weight of 316,000 kgs. The pilots explained in detail about the A350 cockpit, pre-flight, take-off, landing and what they do during the flight. Watch the exciting 360 camera angles during take-off and landing.
The A350-1000 is the largest twin-engine aircraft that Airbus has made to date and it is a rival to the Boeing 777X. The list price of A350-1000 is $366 million.
I flew in the luxury Qatar Airways Q Suite. A few passengers with different backgrounds on the same flight shared their stories. One Qatar Airways cabin crew was surprised by the other crew, who celebrated her birthday onboard. I encountered nothing less than a great sense of humanity during my travel.

Unfortunately it isn't selling too well. I remember how the Boeing 777X got more orders in one day than what the A350-1000 had collected in years.

RV7W because the a350-900 is the optimal wide body in the current market, along with the 787-9, so many operators just go for its sister variant instead, itll still do 200+. The 777x 9 is a different story as it's an modern improvement of the variant, it doesnt really have a optimal sister variant like the 350-9 that'll eat up its orders, however other Boeing models like the 787 certainly will and already have to an extent.

@@timmi2198 the a350-1000 has existed even before the pandemic made the air travel demand really low tho. even then, the a350-1000 has not been getting a lot of orders. there's a huge market for planes the size of a350-1000 since 777-300er which is a plane of similar size sold almost one thousand alone. also, airlines like singapore and lufthansa opted for 777-9 instead of a350-1000 even tho they have massive a350-900 fleet. the a350-900 and a350-1000 are built for different markets at the end of the day. same with 787 and 777x. Saying 787 is eating up 777x orders is like saying 737 max is eating up 787 orders or saying a350-900 is eating up a350-1000 orders is like saying a320 neo is eating up a321 xlr orders. makes no sense since these are planes built for different markets. also, the boeing 777-300er (a350-1000 sized plane) sold much more than 777-200lr (a350-900 sized plane) even tho both are second generation 777 with same engines and wings. So i dont know why can the a350-1000 not thrive even when a350-900 exists.
