Ernie…I am a million miler on a different airline and well over that in total career miles from my corporate roles over the years. While I rarely fly Southwest, I have immense respect for your profession (pilots and flight attendants). I simply fit better into a model with first class upgrades given my travel frequency. I am old. The last time I flew into PVR was on a Mexicana 727. There were no taxi-ways at the airport, we had to back-taxi to the terminal. No jetways and no baggage carts either. Baggage and cargo was handled by a farm tractor pulling a hay wagon. This was 1983, we went there on our honeymoon. Did I say I was old?

...OK, so I don't usually fly with Southwest because they don't fly into or have connectors with Central Orygun (RDM), but - to quote Tom Skerritt's "Viper" taking to Tom Cruise's "Maverick" - I'll fly with you. I do love that short bit at 7:30 where you pan over the Alaska 737 (my usual go-to) in Puerto Vallarta and say "be sure to look us up"...nice save, Big Erm, and good luck on getting your fourth stripe.
