The feeling of flying free is an exhilarating and liberating experience. It is a sensation of unbridled freedom and weightlessness, where all earthly constraints fade away. Whether soaring through the sky on a plane, gliding on the wings of a bird, or even in dreams, the feeling evokes a profound sense of empowerment and joy. Flying free releases us from the bounds of gravity, offering a unique perspective and a sense of boundless possibilities. It ignites a rush of excitement, leaving us awestruck by the vastness of the world and our place in it. In those moments, we become one with the open skies, embracing a profound connection to nature and an indescribable sensation of liberation that stays etched in our memory forever. Thanks, GREEN RENAISSANCE!

Fantastic experience! My hubby and I have flown our hang gliders with occasional Red-tailed Hawks..and even Bald Eagles. It is so intimate to share a thermal and an eye-to-eye gaze with these birds in flight. We seem to be equally curious of each other... but always they seem to scoff and say Ha! you think you can fly.... WATCH THIS!... and off they go thermalling in spirals high above us... and a pace we could never touch. . . and never forget.

Those vultures were circling you just waiting for you to fall and be dinner. 🤣
@kolorsoftherainbow42952 жыл бұрын
Not at all, vultures circle because they’re climbing updrafts-thermals-in order to gain altitude without flapping (thereby conserving energy). They are highly intelligent, inquisitive, social, and playful birds, and they are notorious for joining paragliders in the thermals, largely because they are genuinely curious, and investigating unfamiliar stimuli is just simply a part of their natural behavior.

they are wonderful creatures, beautifully designed by nature to fly and roar in the sky as if they are the kings of the sky.... sad to know they are on brink of extinction, we should do whatever we can to protect these creatures and should come out of our cultural shadow where we see them as ugly, evil-spirited and taboo creatures.

We have turkey vultures here on the California coast. I love watching their ballet as they ride the air, but it never occurred to me to join them, anymore than I would the pelicans or the swallows. Birds of prey are being poisoned by the farmers, who bait for rodents. When they die the poison goes up the food chain as the rodents are eaten by the vultures. It's complicated.

Vultures are such incredible creatures. If only we began to realise that our actions have consequences, poisioning is never the answer.. Thanks for watching.
