seeing the night Riviera has convinced me that i must run a 57 in future.

Definitely support local model shops. Stonker of a model.

Once again, I enjoyed this a lot . . . but I have to say I really liked the two tone green livery!

The Class 57 is pretty much a upgraded version of the 47. infact more class 47 models are being upgraded to become class 57's

The bachmann 57 is a excellent model, I fitted the snowplows to the front which were included in the accessory pack, the dummy couplings only slightly make contact with the snowplows when running on 3rd radius curves . You don't say whether you had a accessory bag included with your model 😊

I actually cannot remember whether this one came with anything interesting in the detail bag - will report back as soon as I find the box!

I enjoyed your review but please learn to hold the model still in front of the camera. The image jumping around so much it is difficult to focus on the detail. Thanks

I really would love to get a railtour formation for my layout

I like bufferbeam detail. I'll only leave it off if it hurts performance, or if it gets knocked off by my bad track on a warped table (looking at you, Accurascale Deltic's vacuum tubes) WHat can I say? I like my locomotives to have a realistic front end.
