Never seen one of your videos before, immediately subscribed. Well presented interesting facts, with wit and at a pace my brain can process but isn't bored at, easy to listen to AND you don't just anglicise the pronunciations. Plus bagpipes. What's not to love

Damn it's kinda scary I was just talking about this to a family member since I gave my nephews skylanders as a christmas gift an age ago ~ seeing this really really takes me back to some warm memories, it's nice to see the models again! And a huge mood booster to experience such nostalgia again x3

I grew up mostly playing Skylanders Giants. The only reason I stopped playing was because my mum sold all mine and my brother's skylanders. From Spyro's Adventure to Trap Team. I really wish now I could have done more on them

Before you correct me, yes, I know Kaos was playable in Superchargers too. I simply did as I so at least thrice a day and forgot all about Superchargers. If you've even bothered to look down here, thank you and merry Kris. Being able to just drop this video in your lap and you still watching it means a lot, even if the stupid capture card and OBS were fighting quite a lot. Hence why there's no footage from the game beyond Level 9, OBS jumbled everything recorded beyond that point to the point of unwatchability. Either way, thank you for watching, cheers folks. EDIT: a short segment had to be cut from the final video due to a copyright claim. I hoped to do a more seamless cut but since KZbin's trim tool is hot garbage, the jump at 9:48 is very jarring. The full sentence should say "Returning features aren't safe from make-badification either."

So nice to see some GOOD content about Dutch loco's, and congrats on the very proper pronounciation. As a 12 year old I've had a ride behind that 3737 on it's last public trip in 1989.

Never really understood how changing the direction from forward to backwards would turn the engine left and right but my goofy autistic kid bum always enjoyed this scene because of the shots of the wheels changing direction

SIR NIGEL - THE U BOAT & NAZI CONNIVENCE !!! The Flying Hamburger, was as suspected by British Government Authorities a cover, for the (illegal under the Versailles Treaty) testing of U Boat engines. In a similar way to the Paxman Valenta used in HST's which was also originally designed for use in highspeed Coastguard type vessels. Indeed one of the real reasons "Sir" Nigel Gresley was given a Knighthood, was his "Government prompted" expedition to Germany to scrutinise the Flying Hamburger. His party of railway engineers also included two Marine (Royal Navy ! ) Engineers !!!!

tbh when i saw that you made a couple of videos about ns steamlocomotives im really hoping that you might make a video about the belgian type 12 streamliner in my opinion an underated streamlined locomotive if it comes to looks

A trilogy of type 1 diesels would be fun, discuss why some of them were shed from the fleet not just being their performance but the types of traffic the railway was being asked to move shifting with the times, maybe compare some of them to the steam they replaced to see if they were all that unreliable compared to the things they pushed out the way. Appreciating the level of effort and thought being put into these to give a balanced view of the subjects.

One of the advantages of GWR locomotives in the preservation era is a) Barry Scrapyard and b) Standard Parts - you can recreate many lost locomotives by leveraging "spares" from more common donors (that you don't mind losing 1 or 2 examples).

I have many Wrenn or Hornby Dublo locos, including a Class 08 shunter from Wrenn. Unfortunately, I can't run it since the armature is bad. It's one of two Wrenn/HD models that I haven't been able to get back to running order. Once remagnetized, the mechanisms in these locos run as if they aren't decades older than the person servicing them
