Absolutely beautiful video, I think the little "hummingbirds" you saw were actually hummingbird moths! They fly similar and eat very similarly so they're confused for hummingbirds quite a lot!!

Lucky to live in a walled town and woul totally recommend it + the whole area! It's called Anghiari, near Arezzo, and the valley is called Valtiberina. Less touristy and the rest of the region!

I didn't know there were hummingbirds in Italy.. But it seems there are, and they love lavender 😊. You can see amazing photos on the net! There are no hummingbirds in Europe, they are night moth butterflies, e.g. Hyles gallii or Macroglossum stellatarum.
