That's oil inspection interval though, there's a separate service interval which is what the service due message refers to, not 5hr oil inspection

You need an OBD2 scanner capable of resetting the service date in the car's computer before SERVICE DUE will go away. This video only shows how to reset the oil change interval. Data for the ECM has to be altered for this to go away.

As mentioned below did not remove service due.. I'm guessing either needs timing done or decoder 8s needed.. Got my Audi engine oil serviced and can't remove service is due.

The only way to clear that is with a capable OBD. When you get to the oil change due mileage you get a service due notification, you can only reset the oil on the screen it doesn't reset the service due.

What I've heard is that Audi will do it for free, since they have intentionally removed the ability for the owners to do it themselves. You should confront them about this.

Oh dear...this guy obviously knows nothing about cars!! as you need vcds software for this, it's common knowledge. I agree this video should be removed. It doesn't reset the Service Due. To do this you need an Audi Special Tool, or buy a MaxiCom MK808, which isn't cheap and try if you will have Luck. If you buy an Audi you do not own it 100%. That't the reason I sold my 2015 Audi A4 2.0 T Quatrro and bought a Subaru Outback. At least I own this new car 100 %.
