Loved this though with a bit of jealousy. My dream in college was to work for Piper and do the exact things Alex is doing. He has accomplished the dream I failed to achieve so I congratulate him on that. I am still a big Piper fan (learned to fly in the 70's on Cherokees) but I'm 69 now so too late to restart my life and career. I do hope some developer will bring the M600 to Microsoft Flight Simulator so I can fly it on the computer. Thanks so much to you all!

Hey Ernie, I just wanted to sincerely thank you so much for your channel and these amazing videos. I’ve been watching these daily as I plan out my career change into aviation at the age of 30. Although I feel a bit behind the age curve, I’m confident I can make it happen in due time! Ground school starts in a month! Your positive attitude, informational content and all the interviews with these people who have mastered their craft are so helpful and inspirational. Many, many thanks from Los Angeles!

Great video but a little disappointing you didn't talk to Alex more about the 600 in detail, nothing about the flight back, purpose of the flight? You did say it was a demo, maybe just a "by chance" opportunity flight. Loved the start up sequence in the m600! Being groomed in an Aerostar (400 hrs tt), piper is my brand! I love both those airplanes. I hope piper kills it with that m600 sls. Keep the vids coming! David

@@FlyingwithBigErn Here's my spin on that. Point missed. This is probably not necessary and over-kill but felt compelled to post it. Because this was a one-off and very cool opportunity, you missed out sharing much of that. Panel views, performance, flight statistics, especially on the return trip. It's not often we get to witness high-end aircraft like the ones you and Sam just experienced. That said, when I saw the runway appear in the window, it was like watching a bad ending to a great movie. You bring the professional sector of aviation to those enthusiast interested in making a career out of it. Your captain interviews and other content are rare, well done and very special to those looking for cool career. I speak from experience from a short career in corporate aviation earlier in my life. All I'm saying, do the same with vids like this one. Thanks for your enthusiasm, joys and willingness to provide the content we love to watch!

Hi Big Ern, thanks for another great vid! Just a quick question about seniority… Just watched your charter vid where you said typically the senior top 10% of pilots get the charters. Are there any FOs that choose to stay as FOs to keep seniority in RHS and get the trips they want rather than go for command and become the least senior Captains? Or does it not work like that? Thanks again great channel 😎👍🏻
