Where did you get that robot at the end of your video? I finally got mine bud and I watched your fist vid on this and it works just like you showed. Im not doing the full manual 3d with mine, only bc it cost to much for me to have it crash I would die so I will stick to the auto stunt safe feature on it. Thanks for showing this.

I flew my FW200 today for the first time in manual, and now I'm waiting for new parts to be delivered. :( LOL Is there a heli you recommend that will fly stable like the FW200 in GPS mode, but have a much faster speed? For me, that would seem the best of both worlds.

there are many. specially the bigger flywing FW450 V3 (Airwolf) or standard version, and Huey UH1, they all can fly fast in ATT or GPS mode as stable as they can be

Pilots with good 3D Skills will simply take off in Manual mode and fly. but for GPS Helis, no matter what skills you have, you can always switch modes in the air. no issues

Have you ever had the small fixing screw on the large motor nut come loose, causing the large motor lock screw to also loosen? Happened to me 'out of the box' and caused the main shaft to drop slightly, so the blade grips hit the anti-rotation bracket and cracked it. Glad it happened during spool-up and not during flight, so no crash and only a broken bracket. Something to keep an eye on and check frequently. Apply thread lock to the small screw.

Hello I wanted to have your opinion on the behavior of the strange FW200 helicopter that I had today. I've had it for 4 months and use it regularly with no problem. Today I was in manual mode, it was upside down and to prevent it from crashing due to mishandling the joysticks, I immediately flipped the switch to figure mode so that it stabilizes , but unfortunately it started ringing with 1 slow beep (not the low battery one) and I completely lost control, the controller had no link! it lost the signal, and as it was tilted in the sky, it went off to the horizon. He walked away and I thought it was over.... I was sad and angry 😭because normally he should have landed, right? if loss of signal from the joystick? I specify that I was in fields with very good weather, and the batteries of the helicopter and the controller were well charged and i had the GPS signal. After 2 hours of searching in the surrounding fields (in a radius of 1 to 2km) by bike and thanks to the audible alarm for low battery, I found it! Without it I would never have found him, it was at the noise that I heard after 2 hours that I came across him hidden in a bush. Only damage, the battery which no longer recharges at the level of an element. She must have taken on too much. My question and the only one, why the helicopter left without any possibility of controlling it? ! nor the return home which did not work! I was very scared and I don't want it to happen again. waiting for your analysis, thank you
@alishanmao Жыл бұрын
Hey Buddy, You were inverted in manual mode. in which case GPS pointing to ground will lose satellites a lot. so thats what probably happened, and you flipped to auto figure 8 mode that requires GPS and compass, specially GPS with all locked satellites. so that might have caused the flyaway glitch. i have had one flyaway on FW200 very first sample that was a beta and I was testing it for feedback. it broke the link to my radio, and started climbing up, then stayed at like 150 meters altitude and kept hovering until battery ran out and it fell like a turd LOL. so this happens time by time randomly.

Right off the bat, I can tell it's the rates. Is there a way to increase your pitch & roll rates with that helicopter for when it's in full manual mode? Another thing that comes to my mind is the deadzone in the flight controller (IE How far you move your sticks before the flight controller actually responds to your inputs). With the OMPHOBBY M2 & all of its variants, the deadzone is atrocious & it's not user-adjustable. This deadzone makes for very imprecise flying in general & even worse when it comes to flying aerobatics. If the deadzone in that helicopter's flight controller is equally as bad as OMPHOBBY's flight controller, there is a workaround. You can overcome the deadzone by configuring a set of bespoke curves in Companion & then load that onto your RadioMaster (This only applies to OpenTX & EdgeTX users). Also, don't worry about it bogging. That's to be expected with small helicopters that have direct drive motors (my OMPHOBBY M2 V2 bogs like this - particularly when I'm flying in cold weather).
@alishanmao2 жыл бұрын
that is the problem there is no way to increase cyclic rates. i recently shot videos and made review (will go public later on my channel) of Align T15 Direct drive helicopter which has Align T15G App and it gives so much control over your cyclic rates to make the helicopter behave the way you want. this one unfortunately does not have such option.
@NiCadHeliPilot2 жыл бұрын
@@alishanmao In that case, I certainly won't be buying the FW200. That's unfortunate, because it has such amazing tech thrown into it, yet you're not allowed to fine tune the flight controller, let alone the helicopter itself. That makes _no_ sense to me, at all. If thar going to do a helicopter like this, it needs to be fully customizable & be able to be fine tuned, along with coming with presets for beginner, intermediate & advanced pilots to provide benchmarks for different flying levels.
@alishanmao2 жыл бұрын
@@NiCadHeliPilot very true. that is one reason many experienced pilots won't buy it. there are better 3D direct drive helicopters for experienced pilots though. :)
