I'm an owner operator truck driver and i understand PERFECTLY those one-off high paying jobs. 😂. Pre pandemic it wasn't unusual to make $3k for a 5 hour run. But now, it's all in the toilet. You can thank the algorithm for putting your video on my screen lol. Great video

Love the videos. The only thing I would question are these short nap times before you fly take flight. Surely you can't be 100% rested and physically and mentally alert with these quick turnarounds. I would think fatigue could play a part in operational procedures and judgement especially if say things went awry and you had to have your "A Game". The money is lucrative but it's also a huge responsibility to keep passengers safe! Maybe I've watched too many "Air Disaster" episodes on Discovery!!!

Hey man if you want to be a pilot you have to have a passion for it and be ready to invest a lot of time and money. Flight training isn’t easy and cheap. You start out first paying to flying then being payed to fly, I’m a student pilot I just started my ppl and it’s hard because you’re being hit with a bunch of new information all at once. But the only that’s keeping me going towards my goal is literally FLYING not the money. Don’t get me wrong I definitely love that I’ll be getting payed a lot but it’s not my main motivation, I don’t know what the circumstances that made you didn’t pursue flying but it’s not too late man.

It would have been purely out of my love for flying. The paycheck would have been the cherry on top. I'm 30 and stuck in my normal life cycle so to stop and commit to it right now would be a challenge. I wish you the best and maybe one day I'll be on your flight. Take care bud, happy flying

Hey Garrett, What are your pilot monitoring skills like? Are you trying to improve those skills, or any of your overall pilot skillset for that matter.. Seems like you’re just in it for the money and days off. Sure our compensation and benefits are fantastic, but its the “look at me” pilots on the flight deck that kinda detract from the best part of our work. Novice here. On the board, I only see four 5:15 periods (1 operating, 2 holiday 27th & 28th, and 1 DH). This seems like a 21:00 total. Your total indicates that there were essentially five plus periods. I lost a min period somewhere in there.
