Enjoying your aviation video very much, you look gorgeous in the video. Your father is also a great pilot and respectable person and your great advisor. ❤

thank you for the information I'll let you know when I'm in school brother... most likely want to get into the field in the next 3 to 4 years. I'm working 2 engineering jobs 80 hours a week to stack money for this career change. It's really reassuring to see someone giving hard facts

Cool video, I just stumbled on your channel. My in-laws live over in your area. Just wanted to say we refurbish airplane interiors, yours looks fine but if you're ever interested our business is called Hoovers Interior, we're just North of Tampa FL. We have a shop in an airpark neighborhood, it's called Hidden Lake Airport. But yeah, cool stuff, I'll definitely keep watching

hey garrett. from your experience. can a pilot obtain a rather luxurious sports car by advancing throughout the ranks in aviation? i’ve wanted to be a pilot since a little kid and one day i also want to own myself a nice car. hoping i can do so by pursuing my dream job.

I am a retired American Airlines flight attendant. I just knew that you flew with American before I ever saw any American airplanes on the tarmac. "Something Special in the air!" 🥰

Do you have to uber or drive everyday, or is shuttle provided by the airline because you live so close to the airport?? Probably a dumb question but 🤷🏽♂️

Let's be honest: Boeing's gross failures at the executive level represents the sick, toxic, American culture of capitalism in the corporate American workplace. Let me be clear. I believe in capitalism. I'm an entrepreneur. But, capitalism is made of people, and as people we're all flawed, not immune to succumbing to greed. When that greed - your product - concerns the lives of people there should be a zero-tolerance policy just like employers have towards their employees. Of note, Boeing employees sent emails expressing major concerns with the structural integrity of the new Boeing 737 Max. Nothing personal Garrett, as a pilot of a 737. I'm looking to begin flight school myself. But, I would never fly that piece of sh*t. I will specifically target employers with the least amount of them in their fleet. Unlike the Airbus that sits higher, the 737 is low, dating back to the day when it had a turbojet. As engines got bigger, then began messing with the weight balance by relocating the engines fore or aft of center chord, that's dangerous AF! A complete redesign of the 737 is needed in my humble, honest opinion. Thats the only way to ensure future-proofing the plane for engine modifications moving forward. FU*K money, stock, shareholders, executives, etc. It's pathetic that it took two crashed planes for PILOTS to be made AWARE of a SOFTWARE fix to address a structural, ENGINEERING problem. Thanks for the idea of a mutually-beneficial proposal at a flight school to reduce out-of-pocket!

Finding out starting pay is around $100k and can go up to $500k is very appealing for becoming a pilot. Going to be a big shortage by 2030 with so many people retiring too so these numbers can increase quite a bit in the next 5-10 years. Now is a really good time to start. I’m 26 and am considering a career change to start flying.

Hello; I’m Indian doctor and pilot: this what I’m wondering: how come this plane very ugly with the all glass avionics. Also, I look it up: high time airframe 9k+ hours, probably more now. Also, pre 1984, this is bad for bonanza airplanes because it’s uglier. Also, you are have a CAL 83’ scab daddy

@flywithgarrett Regarding SkyPath, is the ride report/turbulence forecast based upon CAT II aircraft? Or does it let you input your own turbulence category for your airplane?

What is your yearly hours? what's your yearly duty? what is the average net and brutto income? Average monthly and yearly? Now i will tell you mine, 90usd/h What is your yearly hours? : 740ish hours per year What's your yearly duty? : 1270 hours per year (excluding hotels/taxi/deadheads, just "free work") What is the average net and brutto income? Average monthly and yearly? 65,120 per year, 45,600 per year. (30% taxes) SFO 737 pilot here. Now you make twice as much as I, and 25% more than a captain here makes. But then again it all depends on what your yearly income comes down to. If you only fly 400h a year then it's still pretty bad, if you fly more than 700 then it's good if you reach the 850-900 then you're making bank.

Does the turbulence forecast take into account the size of your aircraft? i.e. is "moderate" turbulence categorized for all aircraft flying through that zone?
