Sometimes a meme is so true you don’t admit it’s true and you just have to embrace the fact it’s true in private to save face. This video kicks off with one of those. Until I started making videos about Football Manager, I was very much the meme on this thumbnail. A guy putting his thumbs up in the mirror to himself.
I hope you find a home on the Zealand subreddit as it is for FM questions as much as it is for memes. Tactical discussions are the high-bro counterpart to these meme videos and I swear I will do an AMA on there sometime that will be prolonged and informational if that’s something you’d care to see. I need to remember I swore that here.

The closest I got to my own meme moment last week was this: 58': We score the 2-1, switch from Attacking to Defensive 63': They score the 2-2, switch from Defensive to Attacking 85': We score the 3-2, switch to Defensive 86': They score the 3-3, switch to Very Attacking 90+4': We score the 4-3, keep it on Very Attacking 90+5': We score the 5-3 The joke was on me though, because everyone was so tired the following games were horrendous.

That loan player playing out of position. Once had a double footed LW out on loan with a LW agreement. Was played at LB the whole season. Fast forward 2 years, injury crisis at LB and he was the only available player to play at LB. Put in an absolute banger in the next game and ended up becoming my first choice LB near the end of the season. I was so excited for this guy as it was also in my all time favourite save, until the save file and all the back ups got corrupted. I was devastated and i skipped fm18 out of pure rage for this.

The sweeper Keeper in attack works though! I had 2 star Sweeper Keepers, Silvio Luiz and M.Vaughen! Silvio being a 3 star/ 3star, 6 times CL winner, while Vaughen was a 20 year old 3 star / 5 star with slightly better stats for the SK (su). Had, had trouble scoring multiple goals in a match, been on a streak of 1-1's 1-0's and 2-1's, so then I just wanted to try something new! I started Slvio Luiz as a Rs AF in a 4-4-2, and first game in i won 8-1 this was the first time in 3 seasons were I had won a game with 6+ goals! Next game 7-0 . Seems the bad attacking positioning of Silvio dragged the defense out of position opening up to my winger on the right which had his two best games in those two games: Scoring 3 and assisting 4! Silvio by the way scored 2 assisted 2! His passing waas fantastic!

It would actually make perfect sense for League One clubs to ask for Premier League average prospects because it increases the probability of retaining them permanently down the line... Loan in a mid youngster consecutive years and maybe then he signs on a free. Loan in a potential world class player and he's never coming back.
