FMF unhappy with NHI Bill in its current form

Free Market Foundation's health policy unit chairman Michael Settas
says the NHI in its current form will not work.
Settas says it's not the duty of the government to take the
responsibility for everyone, even those who can pay for themselves. He
says this will force the government to raise taxes.

Maybe the government should stop subsidizing medical aid for its public sector workers. This will collapse the medical aid scheme as it exists currently.

It stands to reason of everyone is subjected to the same healthcare then the standard of that healthcare will improve. Right now it’s a two tiered system that isn’t right. Bring on NHI
