Thanks Tony, I appreciate your following me. I’ve found the .327 to a bit over-kill in such a short barrel and you don’t usually gain much over a .32 H&R Magnum, so why bother? It’s also considerably higher pressure. Thanks again! Roy

327 has more pressure than 357! So this would need a scandium frame what would make it much more expensive or steel what would make it much heavier! Also I read in comments that 327 is even louder than 357. No thanks!

Honestly, you don't want to have to overcome in 357 the increased recoil on follow up shots. Especially when you are talking about the Ladysmith. In my humble opinion. If you want it like that the 3-5-7 line is awesome in 3" 357. Exposed hammer of course.

Six shots when the .38 does five. The .32 H&R Magnum is no “small caliber” and mirrors the .38 in penetration and overall stopping power. It’s not like the old fashioned .32 S&W Long, etc. This is a modern cartridge designed for performance. Roy

why the hell is it not chambered in 327mag?
@fmgpubs4 ай бұрын
Well, you really don’t need it. In they short revolver barrel, all you really gain is muzzle blast. Plus, the .327 has a chamber pressure of 45K PSI. That’s 5k more than a .30 carbine. The .32 H&R has about 20K PSI so a small frame alloy gun can more easily handle it. The .32 shoots a 100 to 115 bullet at up to 900 fps out of the gun and will penetrate gel to about 12 to 14 inches. More than enough to do the job. Roy
