Thank you both for demonstrating the procedure for the nose wheel setup. It works perfectly. There is no instructions on this procedure in the manual of the receiver. I appreciate your efforts

I also had the same problem with it latching on to the gear channel. If that happens you have to reset the receiver and start the process over again. The key is don’t flip the gear switch when you are trying to assign the designated channel. Just enter it on the pull down menu.

The new as3x+ is really good ur planes are more locked in and stable . Did the update on my 70 mm habu and it unlocked the potential that thing should of had out of the box no more slow roll rate it’s awsome

It's only as crazy as you let it get...and it CAN get crazy, but you can keep it in check too, like when I first got into planes...about 10 years ago...$100-200 per month can be a fair entry point, but then you'll be skipping purchased between some months, and in 2-3 years you'll be hooked enough that you'll be driving ubers, and selling all your body fluids anyway, so just concentrate on the first year, and get hooked like a good RC addict ;)

Hey Brian, did you have to pre-install any parameters on the receiver after you updated it to AS3X+ or is what you did in the set up video all you needed to do to make that receiver work with that airplane? I'm a returning to RC guy and trying to figure out how these new (to me) TX/RX systems work. All I have is pre-programmed receivers for BNF planes with an old DX6. I'm planning to get new planes and just got an NX10+ TX! Thanks for your response in advance.

Most recently, the Kavan, PC-6 Pilatus - BUT I got that worked out with foam inserts. Some of my older planes were notoriously hard to load...like the Freewing A-10 - OMG - it was like doing surgery to fly it.

I never do updates. I go by that old saying Don’t fix it if it ain’t broke. I updated my home security camera and now it doesn’t work ?. Great looking aircraft.

Why? How would that help??? ...Easier to reach??? I just HATE doing the Chinese workers jobs. They're very GOOD at it, and I'm too busy, but more importantly, why are we supplementing labor cost on these planes - they're NOT cheap. Anyway, no biggie either way...but totally LOVE this plane!

Not sure how to read your comment. It's hard for me to distinguish between you commenting on what I/we said, or what someone else said in the comments ABOUT what we said, but either way... our opinions are steered by a plethora of RC airplane builds and experiences. It's very fair to assume that most don't have this same experience, so if you don't view things through the same "lens" things may not be seen the same way - What I mean to say, is that since you don't deal with the "behind the scenes" garbage with these companies, you don't always fully appreciate what we're saying (between the lines), and that's MY fault for not clearly communicating this to you, and our wonderful audience. That being said, we also have certain things we can't say, due to NDA's and that sort of thing, and so it's also not always possible to do it ethically.

I like your videos but there are some things you should take some time and learn before you try to tell people about them. AS3X+ is a major advancement with lots of great new stuff but you did a really bad job of representing it.

Who's sharing anything about AS3X+... I know Jon (TwoBrothersRC) made a very nice video, but WAY past what we usually cover here, and only watched it AFTER our video production, purposely so I wouldn't be tempted to "copy" his approach, which was very good, btw. Plus, showing the "struggle" is part of what we do here, if you haven't noticed. This was our first go at AS3X+, and we got it working...so not sure about your saying it was "Really Bad" - if it's SO bad - then make a better video

Not everyone watches until they see the final resolution. Showing the “struggle” by just jumping into something without learning about it first is not a good approach in some cases. Just my opinion. I really hate it when I see KZbinrs get defensive and say “you make a video”. This is why I don’t leave comments. I have been flying RC planes and helis for 30 years and I still like to watch your vids for entertainment. Sorry for leaving a comment that you don’t like. I’m out.
