Hi Mark for some reason had radio to receiver issues was all over the place took out the AR637t and installed the AR620 with the reflex V2 system I'm going to post the flight and the crash I have it all rebuild waiting for weather to calm down again I think I'm the only one who did not have a good flight with this plane but I been having radio issues for a while I will keep you up dated.@@MarksAultimateRC

2200 4S will get you 3:30 - 4 mins. I will be posting a video shortly comparing that battery size to a 4s 3300. It's going to be difficult right now to give accurate flight times because of how the cold weather here affects battery performance, especially on an EDF.

Last week, after a long wait, I bought 2 of these from Turbines-RC, one for my son and one for myself as we like to fly in formation. Unfortunately both models suffered from ESC malfunction. After less than 2 minutes of flying the ESC goes into emergency mode, leaving just the servos working for an emergency landing. The cause is that the ESC is 40Amp while the motor draws 48Amp. We are very very disappointed considering the fact that for a 64mm EDF is very expensive, being more than Eur 80 dearer than the Motion RC Banshee. This also leaves me thinking that FMS does not test their electronics. Sadly I DO NOT recommend this model.

I have flown this at least a half dozen times with no issues. What did you do to verify it was the esc? What type of battery are you using and what is it rated for? Have you contacted FMS? Not seen much in the way of complaints since this jet has been released.

@MarksAultimateRC I think it's the Esc because it is emitting a 2 beep tone which according to the manual it is overheating. We are going to change the ESC's for safety. The motor draws 48amps while the ESC is 40Amp. Thanks for your interest.

Ohhh I have bought two also. One for a friend and one for me. Formation too… I have read about that peak current but as burst shouldn’t be so critical… Having a 50 A would be better though. And the difference in price would be $2-3 … With an 50A Skywalker V2 that has a much bigger burst too, maybe a 5S battery would be possible 😂

@ficosk8 Hi ficosk8, Turbines--RC sent us 2 new 60Amp ESC's, however I bought 2 ESC's from MotionRC, the one used on their Banshee, which I have and enjoy flying it, and problem solved. My son and I enjoy flying them in formation and get applauded after as they look nice. Mine is yellow and his is green. From take-off to landing glued together side by side.

@@vicsal2029 awesome formations!! I have bought also the yellow and the green one. Because the red one wasn’t available anymore. I have bought them on AliExpress so no extra Esc for me I suppose. But I have some 50 and 60A Skywalkers here… You could post a video if someone is filming with a cell phone :D
