not gonna lie dittophobia feels so important but at the same time i feel like a lot of theorists ignored it beyond the whole nightmare gas stuff

For me, that's because its implications suck and make FNAF 4 make less sense

Am old, can confirm much of your real world research. Cell phones were around for a while before they were traceable,which I remember some politicians called tyrannical, and by the turn of the millennium, it felt like everyone had a website. So your timeline works out.

Oh my god wait. Ok, if the REAL Afton house is in a neighborhood, but the one we see in FNAF4's gameplay, main menu, and in CoDB is the fake experiment one which is always shown isolated, then what is the implication for Midnight Motorist/Later That Night? Midnight Motorist/Later That Night has recently gotten some concrete implications that it's about William. And the house we go to is an isolated house, not a house in a neighborhood.

@@blanktester Foxy Bro is the phone guy and the in-universe author of the security logs. Thus explaining why the author chosen to present himself as Foxy instead of Freddy, the actual face of the franchise, uses similar wordings as the phone guy, and his knowledge of the springlock suits that are supposed to be covered up. It makes a lot of sense considering that Jeremy is working as a night guard in fnaf2, so he and his friends are clearly old enough to work at Freddy’s. And the animatronic that went after phone guy and caused a stupidly strange event was GF, the animatronics that was possessed by the BV. So far, we have seen him, Jeremy, and Oswald’s dad mysteriously disappear from the face of the earth under very unusual circumstances.

@@justice8718 I thought Phone Guy got killed before FNAF 1, how could get still be alive to write the logbook after that? Interesting idea regardless, not a common take.

I can't remember who exactly mentioned it; but, someone pointed out that the wallpaper in Help Wanted 1's recreation of FNAF 4 is similar (if not the same) as the one Michael's house in Sister Location (and his room in Security Breach) even though the FNAF 4 Nights House had its own orange wallpaper. I'm not entirely sure what that could mean but maybe that the FNAF 4 house and Michael's house in SL were more connected than we thought? A retcon? Maybe he never left the too far from the facility at the end of his shifts? Was that what Dittophobia was telling us even though you said the Dittophobia house isn't real? Guess that would explain how Ennard was able to find Michael in the Fake Ending.

While official, the unused Faz-Facts have been stated to be noncanon and written by Illumix rather than Scott according to an Illumix employee, so I would cite their information cautiously. Personally, I believe FNAF 1 takes place in 1992 due to hints from the Survival Logbook and because applying the calendar schedule of nights worked in FNAF 2 to FNAF 1's week works only with '92 and not '93, but it's only a year's difference anyway.

doesn't five laps at freddy's confrm that you play as william afton in midnight motorist and that the fnaf 4 house is the afton house or an afton house.

i've placed the closure of freddy's in late 1993/early 1994, follow me/afton's springlocking in 1995 given that's when it happened in the novel trilogy and finally dittophobia 10 yrs after, so 2005

with you are the band set on the 2000s lets say that afton is also springlocked on the 2000s to dittohobia 2000-2010 > you are the band 2005 > the new kid 2009 > follow me 2009 > sister location 2009 (btw, the faz facts were scrapped, not considered canon and were not written by scott, so the fnaf 1 location opened on 1990-1992)
