It's because he moves like a human. The others have dead eyes, and you know that at most, they're the spirits of dead kids or angry A.I. robots. Sure, scary, right? But with this franchise, you get used to it. Glitchtrap is the first thing to move like a person. Glitchtrap is the first thing where you *know* there's a living person behind that mask. And *THAT* is what makes him so unnerving. He's human -- and yet, he still slaughters children and laughs about it, dancing to the music they play while stuck inside an animatronic suit.

For me, it's just that Springtrap is still somewhat erratic, even though he moves more fluidly than the other animatronics. You can blame the springlocks digging into his nerves for that one.

I’ve always loved coming back to this video in particular. I’ve never been too scared of FNAF (aside from joy of creation. Pure nightmare fuel there.). But the ending to this game is absolutely chilling. Compared to just hearing of it, there’s something almost more horrifying to only realizing exactly what situation you’re in, and being unable to do anything but move forward to the inevitable. It’s that instant realization in the final moments of that mini game that truly makes it the most horrifying moment in the entire series.

okay so i know i’m really late on this video but i have a mini connection/theory at like 1:37:31 when you finish the mini game the man comes over the loudspeaker and says “as you can see fazbear entertainment has no skeletons in their closet…” then he says “see you on the toy isle” and i was recently watching another one of the game theory videos analyzing the book series and there was a mini story of a boy getting switched souls with a small freddy doll and then getting thrown in the trash with many other of the small dolls. i’m pretty sure it was called the lonely ones but then there was also another mini story about small freddy animatronic toys being sold and one of them being defective and brought back and a kid steals it. i don’t remember the name but that’s the gist of it. so i think that maybe when they say “see you on the toy isle” they mean LITERALLY like they’re going to switch our soul with a toy doll and you will “see us on the toy isle” maybe i’m thinking too much but it seems plausible to me considering this game is one of the last and is ‘tying up loose ends’ it just seems a little to similar not to correlate.
