Fnatic miniSTREAK review: a solid, portable TKL gaming keyboard

I've been using this, for a while. I've looked to see what to change it to... and I've decided I'm not changing it. Nice intergrated wrest, thats easy to clean, nice Cherry Mx switches. I've swapped out my Modifiers Keys so I can easily use it with my Mac too. Yep, I'm keeping it. I pair this with a Razer FireFly v2 and Razer Elite (or Logitech Anywhere 3 for work).

Definitely not worth 120 USD. First I got the Cherry MX Silent Red version. It does not come with wrist rest, not that it matters to me as I don't intend to use it. However, the Cherry MX silent is not silent, it feels mushy and is louder than my Ducky One Cherry MX red keyboard. In order to disable the Windows Function key, you have to press the Fnatic logo button to turn on competition mode which will also turn off the RGB effects. You cannot just disable the Windows key without turning off RGB like what so many other gaming keyboards can do. I bought this keyboard for 60 USD and at that price I can be a little more forgiving, but its definitely not a keyboard that should be bought at $120.

This is one of the worst keyboards Ive ever bought. I already bought the Silent Red version, but its loud as hell, compared to the old Rush G1 version, especially the space bar. But the rest of the keys also add huge amounts of pinging when you press them. Thats because of the metal cover plate. Cant do anything about that either, by for example dampening, because the cover plate is connected to the pcb through teh switches, which cant be taken off without unsoldering all the switches. And to top it all off, the F-Keys and the space bar have their switches turned 180 degress, so that they are MUCH brighter under the key caps than the other ones, which not only triggers my OCD but is also annoying has hell in the dark. Oh, and the wristrest also isnt included anymore. Dont buy this POS!

The Silent Red edition does not, and never came with a wrist rest, it doesn't specify anywhere that it comes. Source: shop.fnatic.com/products/mini-streak-rgb-tenkeyless-silent-red I also was shopping 9 months ago on fnatic so I remember it wasn't included back then. I have the MX brown version and it is a extremely comforable with the included wristrest and is a good keyboard in general imo, I didn't have any of the problems you do.

@@UnavailableHandle. i bought the k70 instead with silver switches. It is still much quieter than this keyboard with silent red. Ridiculous. The wristrest was always mentioned as included in reviews.

@@cartrips9263 Yeah but all of those reviews covered either Blue/Red/Brown switches, any other didn't have it included.
