ATTENTION TO PEOPLE WHO CANT FIND THE SONG FOLDER - - i used tricky mod in the video, thats why my folder may look different, but the process to replace songs is the same, search for the song's folder and replace the files matching the names like for example "my_music_voices.ogg --> dadbattle_Voices.ogg" and u r done, SORRY for not mentioning this before, i was too used to the mod lol

If you want to add custom songs, characters and weeks instead of overwriting vanilla assets, I recommend you check out Friday Night Funkin' Modding Plus. There are plenty of tutorials for it and you might find it helpful. : )

There are some alternatives but u have to learn to use them or ur own or watching other tutorials, LMMS is very similar to fl studio, Reaper is good too

you can get fl studio for free on image line, and its trial has an unlimited time BUT when you make a song you will have to make the entire song in one day. because you will have to pay so you can get the full fl studio and open the FLPs

For the unreleased song I have a story planned in my head for a new mod that tenzu could make, in the mod we explore Tabi’s backstory and the person he’s going against is some sort of mafia boss, when gf finds out about this she breaks up with Tabi a wanted criminal known for smuggling drugs, killing people etc and the final song for Tabi “genocide” reflects off of this Edit: I forgot to mention that for this mod you should actually play as Tabi

Fun fact: if you have vanilla fnf you can actually add a song with a custom character and chart and literally put it on the freeplay menu without changing the manifest folder/file(s) and to make things even better i done this on mobile and it worked And of course you can replace files and shi i mean bsides was completely made with almost no coding they literally just replaced every file lol

you can totally use and modify the code to FNF, it's all open source. this video in question is for people who are inexperienced in coding or just want to try something out with no commitment. as for your question, the mods that use custom code have to be accessed through the exe file that comes with the mod. if you try to add the new content to vanilla FNF it could either not load or even break the game. this doesn't apply to mods that just flip art or music assets since they're just using the base code.

if you just changed the ".mp3" to ".ogg" by renaming, it wont work. use something like audacity to export the files as ogg
