thank you sincerely! I played banjo 30+ years practicing 12 and even 18 hours every single day when I started noticing practicing was only making me worse! nobody knew what FD was back then. so my banjo laid in the case for another 30 years, I was diagnosed in 2012 both hands! long story short, someone suggested I try playing using gloves with the fingertips cut out, I didn't try until almost 2 years ago, needless to say I had to work hard to be able to play again, I guess my point is I can now do again one of the things I love best! thank you again for posting this info! I only wish I could found it 30 years ago! :)

Many thanks for sharing! I have leg dystonia and I feel I have a mental block while I walk. The attunement exercise really helped me, now I started walking but I walk like a turtle, very slowly. ♥

I was a commercial artist working in watercolours, I can't draw or write anymore. Its embarrasing when solicialising. My life has changed, I struggle on designing on computer now. I hope I can find something in your videos to help. I have subscribed.

Have you ever experienced a patient with focal dystonia in their arm? I'm a drummer of17 years and my symptoms have really developed in the last couple years as I decided to spend more time practicing and trying to become a professional musician

i have down the stairs dystonia. so whenever i walk down stairs my foot kicks out for each step, making me look extremely silly. i can't control it it sucks

Hi Ruth I am told my cervical dystonia was brought on by yrs and yrs of antidepressants I have had it for about 30yrs now but I do know I feel super dissociative every day of my life Is it to late for help now as I'm still on lots of medication life I'm now 58yrs ❤
