Good article by TRT, much better than anything CNN ,BBC ,Aljazeera or DW could ever put out. The reporter also highlighted the challenges ahead plus showing the resilience of the people to carve their own future.

A revolution is easy, building a nation to the people’s satisfaction is much harder. Still I wish them well, since what has happened has happened.

But the country made more money exporting its onions than it made selling uranium to the West for a paltry 83 cents a kilo. They sure as hell will do better without the West on their back.

I dont understand how sacrificing your right to vote leads to national pride. Mlitary coup never leads to opportunities and prosperity. Authoritarianism will be on the menu next but hey, "this is our choice." It certainly is

Im now convinced africa is doomed to failure. The entire point of democracy is to be able to replace leadership if that is the will of the citizenry. Time and again they choose to give away that power and gullibly follow a "strong man" into authoritarianism under the guise of nationalism. Prosperity and opportunity always follow military coups right? Well im sure this will be the first. No worries thought, the will be anouther coup soon. And one after that. And one that.

Sometimes you cannot pity them, when help does go their way they completely take it for granted and don't want to change.
