What wonderful counsel. So many people can talk endlessly about season five of some worthless show on Netflix or sports. But how many can speak with the same enthusiasm about the scriptures or the gospel??

I attended that conference session and received a revelation during this talk-not the revelation I wanted to hear at the time, but it was important. Grateful for apostles and prophets.

This is so, so excellent. Wise, indeed. Just what I needed this Sabbath day, when I sat down to watch entertainment TV on my laptop, then made a last minute decision to watch a conference talk first. I want to add my testimony of the truth of this counsel.

I know that the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints is true. I have never read anywhere in the holy bible where Christ himself did any writing except for in the sand so who wrote the bible true prophets of God. Furthermore I have never heard of a perfect prophet God has always worked through prophets for their growth and for what it would make of them to. The essence of life is to grow become and to overcome..so the bible is the writing of dead prophets. Every since this spinning blue planet and all the world's of God were created any time we as real children of a real Father in heaven have wanted to grow and become more God the Father of our spirits has always called true living prophets. The living word of God is not the bible. It is the mouth of true living prophets and apostles. I know that the earth was divided geniuse 10 25 . I know that God had some of His spirit children here on this side of the world. I know that Jesus is the Lord the Savior of the whole world. I know that Mormon was a real man and a prophet of God .I also knew that Alma Lephi Nephi Abenidi and many others were also true prophets of God. .I know that we are more than a physical body .I know that we lived with our Heavenly parents as spirit children before getting a physical body . I know that Gods true church is on the earth The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. For Truly the living word of God is the mouth of a true living prophet .

This really hit on a personal level for me. Especially when it comes to content. My inability to stay focused on one thing feeds my skepticism. I was reading the scriptures today and like so many other times I find my self going down a rabbit hole to understand it all in a deeper level. Eventually i find myself questioning everything feeling unsure of the direction I need to take my life. By chance ( or not) I opened my KZbin app and on the top of my suggestions was this talk. This a wise man and these words will help anyone else that struggles with this too.

EXTRAORDINARY Knowledge, very inspiring, very true, very precise, very real, MY BEST WAY TO RETAIN ALL THIS INFORMATION, IS TRANSLATING WORD BY WORD AT THE HIGHEST SPEED POSSIBLE AND REPEATING IT AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH, IF YOU DON'T SPEAK ANOTHER LANGUAGE, JUST LISTEN AND REPEAT
