I love how clean it is underneath. He is saying to support the hub on the last screw to stop it falling to the floor haha. Not over here in UK! You then have to pull the hub out because it is rusted solid. The bolts also I had to heat them up with a gas torch before they would move. I'm moving over there!

@@royevans4581 haha Australia is a beautiful country. Just a little tyrannical atm lol like most countries. I didn't realise the UK was like that in regards to underneath your cars

@@janehennessey1669 oh yeah, I also had to cut ALL the rear suspension bushes out to change them for poly ones. Yes, Oz is beautiful, I hope they get rid of those morons in charge sometime soon. It will all settle back down soon. Keep smiling and give your car some welly!

Where are the camshaft sensors located? I have error P0017, and I can't find them completely, thanks for the help
@OEMDeniedPerformance3 жыл бұрын
Camshaft sensors are on top of engine underneath plastic engine cover on the passenger end. If you look at this image they go into the 2 vertical holes on the far right facebook.com/oemdeniedpage/photos/823350091134802

Have you ever done the rear trailing arm bushes?
@deanoscott3 жыл бұрын
They are a pain in the arse bud.
@OEMDeniedPerformance2 жыл бұрын
Yes, just awkward to do on your own. Ideally need someone to support the arm whilst you operate the press

I can’t believe how there is no rust anywhere, over in the uk, it’s try and spot somewhere there isn’t any rust, crazy.

best thing to do is buy yourself a banger and use that as a winter car mate. Thats what I used to do, put my escort away every October and bring it back out again every April.

Would have been better if the car was used, barely any I've seen are that immaculate underneath therefore the 4 bolts are rusted in place not easily removed like in this

We are based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia so that underside is totally normal condition to us am afraid mate. Car had over 200k on the clock so its well used. (road salting in winter is what causes your rust in the UK) But for rusty bolts I would advise using a product called Rost off Ice by Wurth - use that on classic vehicles and works wonders.
