My husband died last year…we had 47 years together & of course there are many things I miss about him being here…but the #1 thing is him making me laugh. There was rarely a day during those years that he didn’t make me laugh. Great comedian & thank you for making me laugh. You had a great role model in your grandfather for sure.

My husband bought me old people toothpaste. I came home from work and said... you bought me denture toothpaste. What old people use to clean their teeth. I had to die laughing. I had a hard day and in that moment we were able to think it was so funny.

Great message finally! God is love and what He did for us on the cross proves it. John 15:13 states it as plain as night and day, that greater love knows none than this; that He lay down His life for His friends. That my friends is not a feeling, it's action with a purpose! Thank you Focus On The Family!

I hear you. And while that's true, what do we do with all these feelings and emotions we naturally have as HUMANS? As unloved women? As women in loveless marriages?

Thanks for the humour and deep deep underlying truths about marriage, John. My husband passed just over two years ago. I remember asking him, in a tender moment, to say something nice. The long pause was as disconcerting as his reply "You're a good cook!"🤣😂🤣

@@tinaletarte3078 I called a few times, they told me how sorry they felt for what I was going through, they offer a prayer and that was it. Nothing else, so I heard donators donations help them to help others for free, but, I didn't find it except for the videos the post, books mostly aren't for free, well at least they never offered me anything or suggested me something.

Hello @tinaletarte3078 We are so sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience. I am wondering if perhaps you must of called our main number. Would you be interested in speaking with our counselors? We'd like to encourage you to call us at 855-771-HELP (4357) weekdays between 6 A.M. and 8 P.M. (MT) to talk with one of our counselors (at no cost to you.) In the meantime, please know you're in our prayers. Ella L.

@@focusonthefamily Did you guys happen to delete my response to @tinaletarte3078? Because I was the one commenting my experience with the main phone number and the help or support I actually got. Nothing for free except the "I am sorry for what you going through" "We will pray for you". I'm still wondering if it's real that you guys help people for free with the donations you get from your donors. Because all I found costs something, even talking to counselors.
