Thank you for your precise tutorials. I have a Focusrite Gen 3 Solo and set it up as per the tutorial but for some reason, I can't hear myself when I'm singing. It does record the vocals, but I just can't hear myself during recording - which is not good. Any advice? Using iPhone 12 Pro Max

I want to record my vocal and karaoke together in scarlet solo audio interface. I want scarlet to record the karaoke sound directly by using input 2 to get sound from pc together with my vocal coming from input 1. People usually use guitar in input 2 but I want to use karaoke sound to use as input instead of guitar. Of course karaoke can be played in background and fed from input 2 using another mic but why not do it directly for better sound quality?

After you sang in the party rooms (using Gen 3 on Android), did the drafts get saved as it sounded during the performance? Or was there noise? Because with Gen 4 (IQ0012), the music was doubling on my saved drafts.

Well done, love this detailed tutorial. From your video, ive learn that indeed the focusrite can be connected to android phone with the correct OTG adapter. Even the sellers i inquired from could not confirm if this was possible but thanks to you, now i know. Oh and my compliments to your singing 👍 Nice vibrato, good diction, great voice. Thank you it works fine but the output knob cant be used and its kinda soft with the app im using (max vocals in app setting). Can i connect the L and R output of the focusrite solo 4th gen to iphone using dual 6.5mm to 3.5mm adapter to lightning adapter? Then the usb c port on focusrite is used purely to charge using pc

I believed it’s also called otg adapter but make sure it has for camera (icon) usb port and usb c for charging. Check description - compatible to your device. Almost same as camera lightning adapter but usb c on the end- not lightning.

Yes but you will just have to set mic volume to high to hear your vocals. If you can but a fethead would be great.

Hello, I heard that iPhone doesn't support an Audio card because it hasn't drivers. I have got Focusrite, but actually, when I tried to connect like in your video Focusrite to my iPhone 11 it didn't work. How did you manage this situation? Thank you in advance

Did you use the same? With lightning camera adapter? It should work on your iPhone 11 as it works on both of my iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 12 Promax? If you tried using a dongle-lightning to 3.5mm-I got mine from Apple Store and it works

Starmaker does not recognize the headphone connected to the Focusrite properly. It plays the music sound through the headphone, but the voice feedback is not. It says 'please connect the wired headphone for the voice feedback'. It used to work a while ago, but it stopped at some point. Does anyone know how to fix this? tldr; I can't hear my voice via the headphone connected to the Focusrite while recording, on Android. (tested on Pixel 7 pro, Galaxy s22)

Are you using an earphone that has a built in mic? If yes then that causes the noise. Use an earphone/headphone without a built in mic (with 2 lines on the tip).

Sorry i can’t do a test yet on tiktok live as I only have 78 followers. @jenuds1 it might take a while before I qualifies 😂🤣 if you follow me you’ll my the 79th follower😇 anyway what audio software do you use for the focusrite on your pc? I only know Ableton live so far. If you have a macbook you can use garage band. Without a computer, you will need 3 devices-for recording, vocal effects and background music.

Right there is no denoise button on the focusrite. If your condenser mic does not comes with a software, You would have to just lower your mic volume or gain.

Most likely you’re only using the built in mic of your phone. Most likely it’s the adapter to your phone issue. Even if you follow everything but don’t have the right adapter, it’s not gonna work. Are you using to Android or iPhone? If you’re using usb c or lighting to 3.5 mm, I got mine from Apple Store. Don’t know yet what other brand works.

If you meant the video while doing the testing. Aside from the camera pointing on what I’m doing on the table, I also used a dslr cam pointing at me and I sync that video to the audio output from the Starmaker singing sample
