Why so many negative comments, this guy Did a good job showing us where the screws come out, which panels to pull off and he did it alone with 1 hand. If he showed it all set up complete and working it would be a bit better, but i give 4 of 5 stars! Nice video. I have done similar installations and audio sub installations, something like this is super simple. Cant believe the comment from the guy who said he is scared to do it and will ruin his car, pay some mechanic couple hundred bucks. Lol ....great video.

@@repairvehicle 2010 Toyota Camry I installed a cheap set of fog lights from eBay for around $35 I upgraded the light bulbs though the light bulbs were priced higher than the set of fog lights but worth every penny

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!! I got a kit off Ebay and was DYING trying to find what all the wires went to. NO INSTRUCTIONS!!! You have the exact same kit/setup. They are all from China and the brand does matter...just slapped a name on top of the kit. Sorry to tell you.

I bought an aftermarket fog light for my 2013 toyota camry. On the wiring kit it has 1 thin red wire with an inline fuse and then there's another wire which is much thicker and it's a white wire with the relay on it. My question is where do I connect both those two wires on the car? I have everything put in except for the power source and those 2 wires are throwing me off as to which of those two wire connects to on my car and where. Any help would be very much appreciated.

+Mr Vang , wire with the fuse should be thick. Wire with the fuse should be connected to the battery. Where did you get your lights from?

I got my kit from amazon. The seller name is zmautoparts, In my case the wire with just the inline fuse seems to be connect along with another wire that was much thicker and has a relay but it also has another thick same wire going out of the relay. That's what is confusing me because I'm not sure where that 3rd wire coming out from the relay is suppose to connect to.

I wired my new fog light set up. My button that turns on my fog lights, lights up, but all I hear is a clicking sound from the relay and fog lights don’t turn on.

Did you check voltage if it’s going to the fog lights?

@@repairvehicle I will do that today. So the clicking sound from the relay… could that just be that the voltage is too low? They sent a 15amp fuse on the wire between the battery connector and the relay.. I see most kits come with 30amp fuses.

+Yash Chauhan, yes it does. Because it's connected to the battery and not to the ignition. Light on the switch will not drain the battery, even if you don't drive for week.

The light for the indication of fog lamp is generally provided in those cars which comes the the fog laMps pre installed. So please tell me about the light which is there in the instrument panel which glows when fog lamp is switched ON.

The switch itself lights up when they're on. There's nothing above the speedometer that indicates they're on, like the regular headlights.

wawa168 Brown connector is cut off and new wire connector is crimped to the wire and connected to the battery. I will make a video of details.

repairvehicle Thank you for the reply! Appreciate sharing the info! I was trying to tap this connector wire to ignition instead of 12v source. That's because the fog light may be still on when the wire is tapped to a power source (if I fogot to turn it off), on the other hand, the fog light will be off when it is tapped to the ignition (the car is turned off). I just don't know where that fuse or wire is. I can't seem to find a service manual on this year model. I will look forward to your video! Thanks again!

Dylan Hogan you have to tie the wire that powers the light in the switch and tap it to the dash lights or another wire that is switched with the ignition. It is a different circuit than the lights so it is low current draw.

1. don't drill any holes in firewall, to prevent any water entering cabin. 2. follow same steps I have in my video you will be in good shape. 3. make sure wires do not touch any engine parts that are hot when is engine running.

Sorry for my late reply. #8 or #9 sheet metal screws would work for your installation. Length of the screws could be 3/8-3/4 inches. It depends on the thickness of the tabs on the fog lights housing. Maybe just half inch length.

It looks like a shit load of work to do and you might screw up your car electronics. I would rather pay my mechanic a couple of hundred dollars to install it himself professionally, that way my car will be guaranteed to work with the fog lights.

***** Your right, I installed it myself, but got a car electronics expert to do the wiring for $80, because I was scared to screw up my cars electronics, now it works perfectly on my 2011 Camry V6. I also installed leather seats from Katzkin, found on Amazon. Toyota dealers use Katzkin leather on their cars. Then I covered the Katzkin Leather seats with Synthetic Leather Seat covers to protect them, made by FH Group, also found on Amazon for only $59.99, take care, and thanks for the video.
