What brand of sweater are you wearing in the video? Also how many test washes have been done using this method? Curious to know how the foil is holding up. Love the videos by the way. Watching from central California.

Hey Victor, really appreciate your awesome comment! I have been basically sitting on this foil for over a year when I ran my first test print using plastisol ink. I've worn and washed it over and over and it's really stuck. I actually did my first wash on a hot wash and went impressed. The only thing that has happened to the print is the gold has now started to tarnish. So all in all, pretty good. California! OK, packing my bags right now!

Ooh and the sweater is a Stanley stella here’s the link: mytshirtprinters.co.uk/product/cultivator-the-iconic-zip-up-hoodie-by-stanley-stella/

So, this was just printed using standard plastisol ink and foil? If so, that's brilliant. Is the print durable done like this 👍💪
@KeeponCreatingTV4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely just plastisol, I don’t have foil glue... I’ve been sitting on this for about a year with another test print, washing / wearing and it’s great!

hi there I want to ask about the foil, what type did you use? and how to take care of it? thanks
@SingularTechie4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Asking because I have no idea, what’s the difference between foil and gold inks?
@KeeponCreatingTV4 жыл бұрын
Hey Jose, so I haven’t used gold ink yet. But the foil is more shall we say “shiny” or chrome like. You get liquid metallic ink which is close but not as chrome like. Then you have the shimmer gold which has tiny little sparkly pieces in which give it a shimmer, after that you have the glitter range which has large glitter pieces, but here we need to use a very wide mesh. 👍

what colour foil do you have or is it only gold
@KeeponCreatingTV4 жыл бұрын
Hi Pete, We mainly sit on Gold as it's the one that sells the most. It does come in a few colours - Gold / Silver / Blue / Red / Bronze / Green / Pink / Black.

I’m curious and confused. I thought you had to have a glue adhesive for the foil to stick and then you put it in some kind of conveyor belt dryer or a heat press in order to cure it. How is the plaster saw Inc. actually making the foil stick? Furthermore I assume if plastisol works you can also use water-based ink which is the only thing I use. ???
