Welcome to town! I used to slalom with a group that paled along w/ Al Lewin who would just kill on air chair. Always such a treat to watch. Come back when it’s 110°- that part of Lake Austin is boiling and the weekends are a ballast boat hellscape/playscape 😂

I live on "Lake" Austin next door to Mary Quinlan Park boat ramp. Y'all put in at Loop 360 Bridge. If you had gone down river to the right once in the water get warmer. Quinlan Park is much closer to Mansfiled Dam where Lake Austin gets it's water. From the bottom of the dam. It was literally 106° outside today and the water was cold af. But nice to have in your backyard. Holler for Ben next time you pass by the boat ramp 1st property to the left if on the water. The " Fat Farm" aka Lake Austin Spa and Resort is on the other side of the park. I'll ave a beer and a bowl if you catch me. Come Meet Mango the Cockatoo who lives by the water year round or catch a glimpse of the wild ring-tailed cat living the the mighty oaks. Cabins for rent. Nice comfy ones! C'mon down to river Austin. It's technically a Lake because of Tom Miller Dam. Below that Dam is Lady Bird Lake which flows past downtown Austin, Texas.
